Can I PLEASE say the same silly thing that ALL moms say? "My baby is growing up so fast!!" Creighton is 6 months already and it is amazing to think back to when he was born. It is miraculous how they grow and develop so quickly. He already has a strong personality and gives me quite the workout carrying him around.
Meet the friendliest 6 month old in Pocatello Idaho. He is always smiling. Even when strangers in the grocery store start talking to him he is more than willing to talk right back and entertain them. He is quite the ham-always looking for attention. It is so easy to make him laugh, and it is one of the cutest you'll ever hear. He is at his best in the morning (doesn't get it from me). When he wakes up he lays there and talks to himself for about 30 minutes and it takes hours for his grin to disappear.
Here is the evidence of my growing boy. He is now 27.5" (85%) and 18 lb. 8 oz. (65%). He now only wears 9 month clothes and 12 month pajamas. His pediatrician says, "Don't call the NBA just yet..." Neither Cason or I are extremely tall, but we do have a few family members who have some height. Must be all that bouncing he does that is stretching him out. In the mornings he watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and bounces in the jumperoo.
Creighton is learning so much! He loves to roll EVERYWHERE! I am always finding him in the funniest places: under the bed, shelf on the entertainment center...he has no fear! He loves to hold onto our fingers and walk around the house. He sits up on his own now, but it usually doesn't last a long time... he is always in search of some thing more fun! Creighton still loves his bath-he ONLY lays on his belly now and the more water he can splash in his face the better. He has had 2 teeth for about a month now-OUCH! He is a good eater and loves to try all the new things I give him. Thanks to his dad we found out he doesn't like pickles much.
There are so many wonderful things about Creighton and I feel so blessed to have him as my "baby" boy!
Teasing! Creighton didn't like his Cafe Rio either (see post below) so he ate his Gerber Graduates Puffs instead! Sometimes before they soften and he swallows them they hang out on his lower lip and it looks like he has Billy Bob buck teeth!

Creighton loves to play in front of the mirror! He is so interested in seeing his own reflection. It is so fun to see these things that make him so happy!
