Creighton and Macey Jo have very special grandparents who they love very very much!!
Grandpa Dennis and Creighton have a very special relationship.
We are very grateful that Grandma married him so he could be a part of our family.
It was his birthday a few days ago and we were happy to help celebrate and make a birthday sign!
Grandma and Papa Chambers like to send Creighton and Macey Jo notes and gifts in the mail. At Easter time they gave the kids a picture of Jesus Christ with children and wrote a note on the back. We displayed the picture in the living room and Creighton was always asking me to read the note. It didn't take too long for me to memorize the note. He likes to hear how much Grandma and Papa love him!
A few days ago Creighton and Macey Jo got a card in the mail from Grandma and Papa and they also sent Creighton Buzz Lightyear stickers! Again, the card has been displayed and Creighton repeatedly asks for us to "read the note."
Tonight, he picked up his dad's ID badge for work and said, "Dad, what does this say?" Cason said,"What do you think it says?" Creighton looked at the ID badge and as though he was reading the words off of the badge he said, "Dear Creighton, Here is a present for you. Have fun! Love, Grandma and Papa"
We haven't seen Big Daddy for several months but that doesn't mean he isn't on our mind!
I asked Creighton one day to color a present for Big Daddy to put in the mail and ever since he likes to say, "I am making a present for Big Daddy!" His presents are scraps of scrapbook paper that he draws pictures on and then covers up with tape.
We went to Chick-Fil-A a few weeks ago and the prize in his kids meal was a family tree workbook. Creighton said he was coloring it for Big Daddy!
We are grateful for fun and loving Grandmas, a Grandpa, a Papa, and a Big Daddy!
